Today I joined the River Princess and waited in the lounge with three Americans from Arizona. Our rooms became available around 3pm so I spent the rest of the afternoon unpacking.
In the evening I made up a very jolly sixsome with an Irish couple,
an American man, a woman from Puerto Rico and another British woman. Our evening started in the lounge with the safety
drill and other briefings after which we had our first dinner aboard.
Nuremberg lies on the Pegnitz River, a small river used for both trade and leisure. We learnt during one of the briefings that the river is too full for us to set sail at the moment due to the heavy rain.
